Leptonica 1.70 fails one of the regression tests on OS X 10.9 #90

Operating system: OS X 10.9 (Mavericks), using default toolchain. 

Leptonica dependency versions:
libjpeg 8d : libpng 1.5.17 : libtiff 4.0.3 : zlib 1.2.5

If I build using 
./configure --prefix=/path/to/build 
make
make check

fails one of the regression tests (compare_reg). Log file (test_suites.log 
attached)

I require Leptonica because Tesseract OCR depends on it. The latest release 
depends on Leptonica 1.70. I do not know if this test failure will have any 
impact on Tesseract (but obviously I'd like to forestall any potential 
problems).

Thank you for the report.  That test has no bearing on tesseract or anything 
else that I have determined.  It behave the same on all platforms and is not a 
cause for concern.
