Tunnelblick crashes

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Connect to VPN
2. The tunnel starts to flash - the connection stalls
3. Program crashes and icon in top right of screen disappears

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Light at the end of the tunnel - but the icon goes and no connection is 
established

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

3.b06 on intel macbook

Please provide any additional information below.

Upgrade to 3.b09 solved the problem but now when connected no internet 
connection goes through at all
