Real-Esrgan fails to provide better result compare to waifu2X #699

I've tried every model that is included in Colab, and tried to upscale normal anime scenes, but it did not fix the blur. And when I compared it with waifu 2x on the same clips, waifu2x provided a better result. People are blaming Real-Esrgan because it mostly increases the Sharpness and fails to reduce noise. Also, it doesn't look like the main clips. It actually disappointed me. Some people also stopped using these models. Sometimes the output result is so bad that you won't upscale anymore

Curiously I cannot get anything but faces to enhance like the project shows. No idea why. Exact steps outlined in the Colab notebook. It barely looks better on anything other than faces.
