Search in action bar disappears when re-opening it through the three dot menu

Reproduction

• Tap the search icon in the action bar
• Open the three dot menu in the action bar
• Tap "search" item
• Press back to close the search widget

Current Behavior Search in now completely gone from the action bar.

Expected Behavior The issue itself doesn't need to be fixed. Instead there should be no "search" item in the three dot menu when the search widget is active.
