Wildcard support in "No Proxy For" #189

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to Options
2. Proxy Profile
3. *.local

What is the expected output?
All domains of name web1.local, web2.local should not go through proxy

What do you see instead?
The websites donot open, and requests are forwarded to proxy.

Operating system:
Linux

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
I use socks proxy only. Everything works fine except the wildcard option in "no
proxy for".

Some problem on Windows XP

1. Set simple No Proxy like "*.microsoft.com" or "10.*" or "192.168.*"
2. choose profile with this No Proxy (in system automatic change settings)
3. Try open this page in IE and all works
4. Try open same page in chrome but request forwarded to proxy

Same thing on Windows 7, its really annoying. 'No proxy' list works on IE, on
chrome 'no proxy' list is ignored

Same behavior here. Chromium 12 in Ubuntu 11.

On Chrome on Windows 7, the No Proxy field seems to ignore all entries, not
just wildcard ones.
