The sleep action is stopped when meditation ends (relevant code line). If you have other meditation related mods, that could be it. If you do, have you used Script Merger? If not, using it may fix the issue. If yes, you may need to manually make sure InnsAndTaverns code remains intact while merging the meditation script. I could help out with merging if necessary.
