cannot update picture #9

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Upload a picture using the admin tool
2. Edit the default Picture #1
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I try to upload a new picture and receive this error:

Warning: copy(../shots/1.jpg) [function.copy]: failed to open stream:
Permission denied in
/home/httpd/vhosts/kiwi2racing.com/httpdocs/photo/admin/index.php on line 453

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.13 on linux box

Please provide any additional information below.
I have even tried changing the folder shots, permission to 777 just to
test, and I still get the same error. Thanks.

Due the fact the code is old and obsolete we suggest to delete the default 
picture #1
and add a new post.
