Local storage gives an exception in Safari Private mode

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open a private browsing tab in safari
2. Open a page that includes Hyphenator.js

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect Hyphenator to work as with other pages. Instead I see an error in a 
popup saying "An Error occurred: QuotaExceededError: DOM Exception 22". After 
this the page load is halted and I'm left with a blank screen. 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Hyphenator 4.2.0, Latest Safari on Windows, also on iPad and iPhone.
