Webcam not working #51

Hi. I have a T480 in this config: i7-8550u, MX150, 32GB ram, 1TB Samsung SSD 980, Intel AX210 WiFI

I used itlwm for my wif card, works flawlessly. I have only one issue with this setup, the webcam does not work. The microphone works just fine, but for some reason the webcam shows as not connected. Your clover config seems to be the best one yet, it would be awesome if You could help with the camera situatuon. Camera was working on opencore with efi folder by hexart.

Hello,

here camera is working fine i don't use it at all but it worked since 1st commit here

could you go in about this mac -> System report -> USB

It should report an entry with 'Integrated camera' usb

differences I see this between my repo and hexart

USBPorts.kext

https://github.com/hexart/T480-OpenCore-Hackintosh/blob/main/EFI/OC/Kexts/USBPorts.kext HS01 - HS08 and SS01 - SS04

whereas here it's HS01 - HS10 and SS01 - SS03

And with 'Hackintool' https://github.com/headkaze/Hackintool

in the USB panel hackintool

Hi! Here are the screenshots you mentioned. I also attached a screenshot of loaded kexts. The camera is not visible and I seem to have less USB devices listed in hackintool. I used Your EFI config, removed broadcom kexts, injected itlwm and generated my SMBIOS, rest is unmodified.

I saw a mention that the IR camera requires different USB map. Strangely enough, the microphones (which are integrated into the camera unit) work without any problems. The camera is not deteted in photobooth, chrome camera test, system report and in hackintool too.

Also my 2 usb ports as well as both type C ports work for data transfer. I will be able to test thunderbolt in about a week because of quarantine. Basically everything except for webcam works well, I tested HDMI output, widevine, ethernet, Intel wifi and bluetooth (Intel AX210 with itlwm and heliport). I had problems with app store so I generated my own smbios with another serial number and it seems to work now perfectly.

Edit: now after a reboot, devices named SS01, HS01, and HS04 are showig up as active in hackintool (Last screenshot:) Screenshot 2022-03-22 at 00 08 24

UPDATE: Most likely fixed my issue. I used USBToolbox to map my usb ports in windows. Both usb-c, usb-A, as well as camera and microphone are working now. Here is my USB info from system report Screenshot 2022-03-22 at 21 39 57 .

I reinstalled my os from scratch, only injected itlwm and intelbluetoothfirmware. The webcam works with usb mapping shown in the readings from hackintool. Unfortunately my bluetooth is not working correctly, and i use itlwm instead of airportitlwm, but that's a issue on my part, as I only have a intel wireless card. I will try to fix the issue with bluetooth.

I have no idea what happened:
