Would it be possible to fix thunderbolt on Ventura using SSDT patches from this config for exapmle? It's for Macos 12.4 using opencore, there are numerous thunderbolt ssdt patches.

https://github.com/dursonATWIT/T480-OpenCore-Hackintosh-Thunderbolt

I will try to include those intomy efi folder but i doubt they will work without some modifications. Your config check all the marks for me, works great, apart from the fact that i also use a thunderbolt dock (ThinkPad 40AC) which does not work in alt-mode as far as i am aware does not support displayport alt mode. Ventura works perfectly for me, even tho i have some battery capacity reporting issues, but I might find a way to fix those.

but gladly accept any pull request if you made some !

Thank you for a reply! I will try to test the thunderbolt functionality further.

Can I ask you a quick question? As far as i understand your efi uses native nvram, not emulated. Have you ever tried resetting the nvram using F11 key in clover and rebooting? Did it cause any issues? I've seen 90 series thinkpads not being able to boot after clearing nvram through opencore, and a T480 which had lost it's uuid/enabled corporate sign-in in wndows but I was not able to find info on that.

I once f'd up my nvram and had to use lenovo HMD to put the data back properly once again, but it was a very risky process. If you have tried clearing it in the clover using F11 key or in the OS (using terminal for example) it would be good to know the results, and should we be converned about hackintoshing on a T480.

Thank you in adcance, have a great day!

Hello, yes i've cleared nvram within clover, no problem.

I'm using only macOS so I can't tell if there's a side-issue with windows. USB Bootable key w/ Linux was fine.

If you've an alternate settings, with "emulated" nvram, feel free to P/R.
