Requiremnts

one or many images can displayed
if many images are intented Navigation Arraws are shown
Editor can set url of images
Editor can set the crop to widgets
- strech
- postion
- crop
- cover
- scroll
Editor can set Diashow intervall
Supported Formats
- Raster/PNG/jpeg/bmp
- Vector/SVG
Import Images from a Gallery (e.g Icons)
Save Images to Gallery
Default Icon Gallery (MDI, Font Awsome)
on SVGs
- change size
- change oritation
- animations
- foreground color
- background color
- see Example(https://fontawesome.com/icons/face-vomit?f=classic&s=solid&an=bounce)
import and search from pic- database eg https://api.openverse.engineering/v1/

I can imagine fonticons more in the text editor.

Yes, as a developer. But maybe not as an user. because then oyu will only see the icons, but never realize that this is a font
