I like to prevent my OS from doing updates when using a xmm7360 wwan* mobile connection.
For me using Debian-11 this is Debian Unattended Upgrades, /usr/bin/flatpak update -y and updating addons in Firefox. But for other distros this might be other things too.
So is there a general way to mark a connection as metered aside from the possibilities NetworkManager offers? Because the connection doesn't show up in NetworkManager, so I can't configure it in NetworkManager.
