[edit] partially WORKS, HP ELITE X2 G8, Kernel 6.1 on Manjaro #202

Hello, managed to make the module work in a HP Elite X2 G8 running Mnajaro with kernel 6.1 by following the instructions in the git. Unfortunately as noted by other users suspending the laptop makes it unusable. reloading the module doesn't solve the issue and a full reboot is needed. running on latest firmware available from HP [edit] Firmware:18500.5001.00.05.27.30

Hello all, again big thanks for all the efforts put into making this modem work on linux. Following instructions in pull #195 I set the module to load on boot using dkms I'm facing random kernel crashes on boot and resume from standby. 20230114_204523 I get to boot into linux only after enabling/disabling the modem in windows or disabling wwan in bios.

eventually got back to manual module loading and the modem works 'til the next suspend resume.
