Archivers support/plugin. #1

Is there a plugin to suport ZIP or/and other type or archivers?

I have a big collection of Modules which are packed by ZIP/7Z. On windows XMPlay has a plugin to play such content. Is there a plugin which could handle packed archives?

No, we don't have such a plugin. Sorry.

XMplay does it natively: https://support.xmplay.com/files_view.php?file_id=496

You can open a 2Gb zip/rar/7z archive full of SIDs, VGMs, SPCs, MODs. or MIDIs, and he will just instantly append 60000 elements to the playlist :)

I wish one day XMMS2 will do that as well, in the meanwhile you can use Wine following this guide: https://support.xmplay.com/article.php?id=38
