The changes look good. I thought we can replace -DCMAKE_TOOLCHAIN_FILE=xmos_cmake_toolchain/xs3a.cmake with --toolchain ../xmos_cmake_toolchain/xs3a.cmake too. It is used in several readme files.

but without the ../ ? Because we run cmake from the root
