I corrected all the bugs in the PHP code and tested this both localy and on our host. You can test it out here: http://broban.bladh.nu/scoreboard.php

Found an error (that I think I introduced some time ago): the path for the background image in the CSS file /images/banner.jpg should be changed to images/banner.jpg.
