Hello, duplicate IP issues is actually a common wireless issue that anyone can
and often has. The only way's I know to fix it is to either in your router
settings manually assign ip's to your computers in your home, or the better way
to on your home computers on the computers themselves assign manual ip's, or
some of them, that way they won't use the same IP as another, but the network
can still be open for anyone else to come along and connect.
Do a search in Google for setting a manual ip connection in a computer, and you
should be able to find the proper instructions.
I had this issue for example when I used to go to a local Library often,
someone would often be using the same IP my computer was wanting to use per the
ip the router was wanting to assign to me, and so I did just as I mentioned,
set my own IP (last digit(s) a higher # so no-body would be auto assigned that
# since routers assign from lowest to highest) and I could always from then on
connect to the internet fine.

BTW, I just discovered you are correct, it DOES just stop working sometimes,
but it seems to just do it when it want's to and doesn't always do it. For
example, it just occurred to me after running it for only 10 min's.
I know it just stopped working because my internet disconnected, and so I
checked it, and the last ping was about 5 min's before. I'm pinging a website
every 1 sec. so I can stay connected. It's a new gen wireless card and certain
crappy routers issue (and I have to use a certain driver and settings on it.)

using thr program to document the network quality while travelling at a train
of the austrian ÖBB, a state owned company, from Vienna to Zürich. and yes,
it stops working after a while. it seems to do that after loosing connection.
