easytags-3.9.1 does not automatically create tag files

Hello.

easytags was working more or less fine for me. However, recently easytags stopped generating tag files automatically. If I call :UpdateTags manually, then tag files are created. This is also reproducible with both easytags and vim-misc from git. My easytags config:
