Upside down image on Ubuntu #113

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. when detecting face
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I get my image upside down, so my face isn't recognized.
This happens with some built-in cameras on laptops, as they were assembled
upside down and corrected thru the windows driver, on UBuntu we don't have an
"easy way" to correct this, but some applications such as empathy corrects this
automatically.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
ubuntu 11.04

I have the same problem. I am using ubuntu 10.04 LTS on ASUS laptop.
When using Cheese I used to have this issue as well, but now it's repaired by
exporting V4L variable: LIBV4LCONTROL_FLAGS=3.
However it seems pam-face-authentication uses different video driver (not V4L)
because my solution doesn't work here.

Please find a way to flip image.
Please please please :)
