This fix has worked like a dream for a long time. I can finally use my computer without being tethered to headphones.
However, after updating to kernel 6.5.8, the dkms module failed to build with this error:
output_of_build_script.txt
I suppose this has to do with a possible change made to the driver module that this patch conflicts with. What's more frustrating is the output alludes to a file called patch_realtek.c.rej, but it doesn't tell me where it can be found, and a find command search yields no results.
