hotkey causes problems on Asus 904HA netbook #8

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. If hotkey is loaded then as soon as a cursor key is pressed when grub4dos 
menu loads, the menu scrolls down (like cursor key repeatedly pressed) and does 
not respond to any more keypresses.

no command line parameter used

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.
Same USB boot key works OK in QEMU.
