Hi,

because of KRACK I wanted to update my AI Lights. Espurna was on 1.7.1 - I used the web-upload feature for OTA. Unfortunately the light is not available anymore.

I used the file: espurna-1.9.7-aithinker-ai-light.bin

Can someone give me a hint here?

Thank you - any help is appreciated

Putted on hold, because I have to test the situation with another bulb.

Well, I just can't do anything if I don't know what went wrong. You can close the issue yourself and reopen it if/when it happens again.

Not really. Unfortunately the light is placed not in a direct accessible place. I need some time. If it is better, we can close the issue.

Hi Any update on this? Could you flash another binary?

It is dead. I tried to wire it again but it did not respond. I have to other bulbs in the same situation. I will update them via wire now.

Sorry, I missed this issue. Most secure way to recover the device is to wire it again... have you tried it?

Maybe someone can confirm, that the image espurna-1.9.7-aithinker-ai-light.bin is running in their environment. I do not want to solder again just to see, that the image does not work. I read about the OTA-functionality. One important point is, that there is something like a integrity-confirmation. So that just if the image upload was successful and maybe a hash-function was verified the new image will be flashed? I just can not understand why the AI Light is not available any more. No SSID, no station connect and no port in Arduino IDE :(

Closing for now. Please feel free to reopen when you have the chance to debug this further.
