Critical, actually: old uncompressed files can't be loaded! (Well, there's only one, I guess. :) )

[x] Just look for "MODEL_VERSION = " at the beginning, or SESSION_VERSION, or whatever... (-> #367 - clean up those concepts!...)

Well, and actually implement run-time switching of compression on/off... -> #290
