It's happening again... :-/ I can't remember how exactly the original case ended, but AFAICR, it just happened to come back to >160 FPS all by itself (for the 501-piece test run). Now it's down to ~150, just like back then... :-o
[x] Not a monster tab-hog Chrome running in the background.
[x] Not any Windows (antivir etc.) shenanigans, according to TaskMan at least, but who knows for sure...
[x] HUDs off seem to make the same sort of difference as before.
[x] Not the CPU performance slider of the laptop itself (that thing seems to be utterly fake...).
[x] Full rebuild did nothing.
[x] Full-screen is still significantly faster (as before): 180 FPS, vs. ~150 windowed.
Well, waiting, again, made it kinda heal: it's back at 157 again. :-o
But then, another run, right afterwards: down to 153! :-o WTF?!
