E.g. LCtrl + RCtrl for orbit trails: for a while after startup it just kept mostly ignoring the simultaneous presses, and then, as if warming up to it, started doing it always consistently, so that I could no longer reproduce the issue...

It's likely caused by the hamfisted, uneven threading. -> #354
