It seems that the gridrec algorithm might be a bit memory hungry (at least on my local computer). We might try other algorithms, but we need to check that this will run on the D hutch computers (or use srv1)

Hi CJ,

In Building 817, we have a HP Z4 workstation (Windows 10 installed) with 128 Gb memory. Nobody is using it.

Can we move it to the beamline and put linux on it? I don't think we can get the network to play nice enough to get the data off the controls network currently.

Ok, this shouldn't be too big of a deal my laptop doesn't have much RAM on it (10 GB only) and the local server has 258 GB so I'm not too worried overall. I just wanted a place holder to remind myself to check this.
