5 months ago Update: I don't know what I did differently but I just reinstalled the code after several previous attempts and this time it has worked perfectly.
I'll go ahead and close this thread but if I discover what was different this time I'll post it here.

XTouch connects to the same network that my P1S is on and gets as far as the "Pair Printer" screen. The printer is found OK and is correctly displayed but that is as far as I can get. I can't select the printer by touching on the printer description and the white-on-pink tick box does nothing other than make the printer description line jiggle up and down when I touch it and hold. Nothing I can do seems to move the app on beyond this point.
It's obviously working for other people, so I am at a loss to understand why it won't work for me. I'm not convinced it's even a bug - it might be something specific to my set up but as far as I can tell the installation is pure vanilla.
Edit: Apologies, I missed that there was a similar thread in the closed section. I have tried recalibrating the screen to no avail. I am also perplexed that my screen colours are different to those of other contributors with a grey background and pink/white tick-box. Maybe I have a defective device!
Grateful for any ideas.
