This pull request drops support for TYPO3 v8, and cleans up some deprecated code according to items in the TYPO3 Upgrade module.

There are still a couple deprecated items that I have not resolved:

deprecations

I am open to suggestions / further edits. I would like to help get this extension working officially on TYPO3 v10.
