Yes, SNR = EbN0db(i)+10log10(bitPerSym) is correct when there is no oversampling.

Why you set frequencyOffset1 = 20 and frequencyOffset2 = 50?Are these numbers by calculating? Is there something I missed?

Another question:In my opinion, CFO=0 is better for communication,it is ideal situation.

Does that contradicts with simulation? So sorry for bothering u. I am new in SCBSS. Thanks for your code and your reply. I've learned a lot from those.

Hi,

The setting of CFO is based on our project requirements.

If you set frequencyOffset1 = 200 and frequencyOffset2 = 500, the CFOs are too large and it makes the channel tracking to be difficult, that’s why the BER is very high.

CFO = 0 is the ideal situation, which cannot be achieved in real wireless communication. This is because you can never find two identical oscillators for the transmitter and receiver in communication.

BER approached to 0.5. And the minimum appeared at EbN0=25. In my parameters, EbN0 = 15:5:30.
