Using a different font for headings #49

So far, tommi.space has been using three fonts:

EB Garamond as serif font for quotes and more peculiar writings
Ubuntu Mono for code
Inter for everything else

Most websites often use another font for headings. I might consider this for tommi.space, too.

I randomly browsed through Google Fonts, and selected some fonts that might fit.

Finalists

Fredoka: I love its being round but still very readable. It is open source.
Titan One: it is the most appealing, but it does not seem to be open source.
Permanent Marker: it is the less readable, but I love how it would go hand-in-hand with the WIP look of the website.

Changing again

Since the moment I chose Permanent Marker as the headings’ font, I have never been very convinced, something felt weird about the way it looked.

I while scrolling Font Space looking for an alternative, I discovered Retro Island, and I liked it really much. I chose it, even though it is not a super final choice since there are many key glyphs missing.
