If the cue ball is hit into a pocket on a shot, then that is considered a scratch and the ball should be placed back on the table behind the third dot on the opposite side of the table to be placed by the player. Also if the cue ball is scratched on the making of the 8 ball, the shooting player loses.
Script Tests:
scratch the white ball when not going for the 8 ball/win, verify that it automatically appears back on the table.
get rid of all the balls on the table except the 8 ball and the white ball. Scratch the white ball. Verify that the chalkboard says "you lose".
