'"There was an unhandled error - Sorry!" on login #294

NB: First check the wiki and existing issues!
There is one with the same error message but different circumstances. It's 
unanswered.

What version of Procurement are you using? On what operating system?
1.6.1 Windows 8.1

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Open Procurement.
2.Log in using session Id (followed the steps in the wiki).
3.Click Login.Authenticates name [OK]Loading characters... [OK] Done!
4.Then get the error message 'There was an unhandled error - Sorry!'

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect it to log me in. Get error Message.

Please provide any additional information below.

Procurement then crashes. Tried with every combination of offline, online, 
email, steam and session Id.

This seems to be related to invalid settings.xml or buyouts.xml, have you tried 
using a clean installation of Procurement?

This seems to be related to Issue 285, please check my most recent comment 
there and reply to that thread. I'm going to merge the two issues as they are 
related.
