We did this major cleanup, @xsawyerx and I, and it's no longer a WIP. (Not that it's super stable, it's just sort of finished).
In any case, we should merge it to master ASAP. What if people start merging new features into master before this is merged?! The conflicts would be way too big.
Who will merge this? Is there going to be some sort of testing, or code-review?
