Too Many Key Bindings for Presentations! #60

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

It's great that Amora allows so much control, but my intention is to use
Amora for presentations (with xpdf), which needs two keys: backspace and
space. Currently, it is very distracting using Amora this way: there are
just too many options. In this case, I'd like all buttons to be mapped to
one of these two keys.

I tested xpdf and Amora has the keys required do control it, but I designed it
thinking about Evince, where you use 'arrow keys' ('4' and '6') to
advance/return slides.

What would be ideal would be support to user defined keymaps, but that is going
to
require some changes in Amora client code.

I think its funny since that most of users want to have more keys events
available to
then, and you think that they are way too much.
:-)

Best regards

I didn't mean to suggest that I am unable to use Amora with xpdf but that I
don't
want to have to hunt for the 0 key to advance a slide while I'm giving a
presentation. But yes, key maps would indeed be a solution here.
