Hey @barche, are you aware of a specific breakage with Julia 1.2 on windows?

Hi Sylvain, not really, but I did intend to check properly the MSVC situation once the work in the type_overhaul branch is complete. Unfortunately I'm having less coding time than I would like, lately.

Thank you for your reply! Hopefully someone from the julia crowd will respond on slack - or this is fixed in 1.3.
