A while ago, I tweeted asking GitHub to make the gists wider and taller (why would we have 4k displays without using all that screen estate?).

No response, but I figured out that overriding the .container-lg and changing max-width from 1018px to 95% worked and Googling based on that found this repository.

I wonder if there are CSS changes possible to also make the gist editor taller.

Any pointers in that direction would me much appreciated.

Oh, wow, that is quick!

I'm out on a short break to mentally prepare for surgery, but will make a note to try it out later this month.
