Trying to fix the MT7610U chipset driver by MediaTek so it's usable on modern Linux kernels and with nl80211/NetworkManager (and not completely breaking on old ones, maybe...)

Linux won't shutdown after wifi usb used #34

Hello! I have an Archer T2UH (I bought it recently) and this driver works totally fine, but I got a problem. The dongle only works if I start the system with it pluged (but that's ok) the problem is when I turn off the laptop. I have a linux mint 18.3 (kernel 4.13) and when shutting down it has a loading logo, and the shuts down. If I dont connect the dongle it's ok, if I connect, the logo keeps loading for hours. Few days ago I left it shutting down and I left for 2h and when I came back it was in the same point.

Does anyone have any idea of what kind of problem is this ? Thank you in advance.

PS. I've seen somewhere on the internet 😆 that there is a bug at ubuntu 16.04 (which linux mint is based) and it won't disconnect properly!

Sadly I'm not a hardware guy and I bought this thinking in the fact that I have linux and is written in the box "support linux" but apparently the support ended on kernel 3.2 Some people around the world still try to fix it, but it's broken again every once in a while.
