Do you have any plans to migrate to their local edge platform, or is that even possible? I don't quite understand it. It looks like Lua drivers for devices, but your smartapp creates virtual devices itself.
I'm still not totally clear if there will even be such a thing as a SmartApp. There is talk about the Rules API which appears to be sort of like webcore, but via JSON. To be honest, I don't understand what's going on and if I need to migrate to HA.
I'm waiting to see what the RBoy plan is too, but I really need unifi presence.

Edit: Apparently there is a new SmartApp SDK to run yourself. There is an example running on Glitch.
