IPC3 compatibility #64

In the FAQ section under "Which board/laptop can I use with XTRX in PCIe mode?" it lists IPC3 by fit-PC as a compatible device. However, the spec sheet shows that ti IPC3 uses M.2 slots not PCIe. The IPC2 does list two mini PCIe slots, one half and one full. I do not own either of these boards, i am currently looking to source a product to run the xtrx board on, but i believe this reference may be in error. Could it be referring to the IPC2?

Is anyone really using this device with success? The block diagram for the IPC2 indicates there is only a half size slot for this board and no mounting holes for a full size device. According to experience and the faq, the half size slots are too small to load the xtrx into and the full size slots are typically wired for mSata vs mPCIe. Kapton tape perhaps is the mounting solution here?

i.e. i dont that either device should be in the "tested as working" list unless further explanation is given.
