@MosabHD hi, that problem come from the user permission on your server. Can you run "sudo chown -R odoo_user /path/to/your/odoo/folder". The command sample in the last command of step 9 in this link
oh right.. But I have installed odoo using the package installer. I don't know where is the odoo path and what is the user of odoo can you help me with that?
so I have found that there is a user in my server called "odoo"
I used the command with this user on this dir: /usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/odoo
but still nothing changed
it is ok,, can I set a solid color instead?
actually not, but you can use an image with the solid color and set as a background :)
I changed it by changing the login layout inherit view.. I think this is very ok with me.. I wish if you can add the option to change the background to a solid color in the future and even to choose custom logo..
Thanks however for the great tool..
You are welcome. Thanks for your advise. I am developing a new module for solid color, but not public yet :) Btw, you have any issues or task relevant with odoo, feel free to contact me. Thank you.
css seem not working, background image also not appear..whats wrong..?
ok thanx, permission issue :-)
Hi,
Having a similar issue as @MosabHD, upon install works perfectly and have set the folder properties to chown odoo_user:odoo_user_group & chmod 755.
Upon a server restart, all app properties are ignored except for css layout which keeps the login box in the centre of the page (please see @MosabHD images with the white background for example). The previously set to "True" footer messages (manage databases / powered by odoo) both return to the page but still show as True in the system parameters.
Any advice welcomed.
Hola he realizado varias instalaciones actualmente: addons_path=/opt/odoo/odoo-server/addons, /opt/odoo/custom/addons ubuntu, debian.
al realizar una inspeccion en el navegador
