So far, only single image protocol is (fully) implemented. Also some issues are valid even for this branch.

Added multi image protocol implementation but only for sending of images (nothing for serving, receiving, requesting) in commit c89b76a8fc3b4012f6c8e3a62c6d34cd8aba50a4
