Since you new projects carries exactly the same bugs as this one (some of them 
I've fixed but you didn't in your fork), why don't you merge your project with 
this one? In other words, what's the point of having 2 projects with almost the 
same code? We are talking about cocos2d here, not BSD. Let me know.

Did you manage to merge the projects?
I think that, since both are BSD licensed, there is no problem with merging...
