What do 0001 and 44.0 and 096be8ed810e057b represent in http://legislation.govt.nz/subscribe/act/public/2015/0001/44.0/096be8ed810e057b.xml?

You've probably figured out that 0001 is the Act No. (see XML act.no="1"). This appears to be reset to 1 at the start of each year. My guess is that 44.0 is some kind of version number. For example http://legislation.govt.nz/subscribe/act/public/1987/0065/61.0 points to a specific version of Act No. 65, with http://legislation.govt.nz/subscribe/act/public/1987/0065 apparently listing all available versions of the Act.

Hey! Thanks :) Yes 44.0 is a revision number internally, and you might see only 25.0 and 44.0 get published for undisclosed reasons.

Still fascinated by 096be8ed810e057b though ... it's the filename for every item in the tree? Maybe it changes to signify an update or something ... we'll see.
