Long messages stay pending and resend on reboot

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Use the reply in the popup and send a message that is longer than one 
message. The message will send.
2. Open the native messaging app and notice the pending icon.
3. Reboot the phone and the message will be resent causing confusion to all my 
contacts.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The message is not marking as sent when the message is actually sent. Works 
fine for a message length of 1.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
SMS Popup v1.2.4 with HTC Sensation XE Android V4.0.3 and HTC Sense v3.6

I too am experiencing this problem. I have a HTC Sensation 4G, Android v4.0.3, 
HTC Sense v3.6. I'm running SMS Popup v1.2.4. I'm not quite sure if SMS Popup 
is to blame for this problem, I sometimes get the same issue sending messages 
without SMS Popup. Short messages also sometimes stay pending using SMS Popup, 
I've noticed. The only way I can fix the problem to avoid the phone sending 
messages on reboot, is to delete the pending message and send the message 
again; usually it successfully sends the message the second time.

I have experienced the same as jpco... I've never considered it could be SMS 
Popup as I'm sure I've had the issue just in the default SMS app too, but I do 
have it installed. HTC One S Android 4.0.4
