So far I have only seen this when converting from the old confluence/1.x syntax, not confluence+xhtml, where I think it is possible.
If a content contains a link of the form [label|space:] this is currently interpreted to point to a page named space:. Instead in Confluence it points to the home page of space.
Input: [label|space:]
Expected output: [[label>>doc:space.WebHome]]
Actual output: [[label>>doc:space:space\:.WebHome]]
I can look into it, but I need a bit of help where to start.
