Can't add RSS feed to rutorrent

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Installed rutorrent + PHP5 on Readynas Ultra 2
2. Configured according to 
http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=62668 
3. Tried adding the RSS feed URL

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I recieve an error: "Please, specify correct URL feed." Tried different URLs 
with the same result. Also tried a default installation with the same result

What environment are you using?
1. My ruTorrent version is 3.3
2. My rTorrent version is 0.8.9
3. I use web-server PHP 5.3 bundle
4. I use browser Firefox it version is 18.0.2 on Win7

Are some errors present in the web-server log?
- Not sure where to find them unfortunatly

Are some errors present in the browser error console?
Please, specify correct URL feed.

It worked from the beginning but after a while it stopped working. Tried a 
fresh install of both PHP5 and rutorrent+rtorrent but with the same result. The 
rss feed is from TL http://rss.whatever.org/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Everything else works like a charm. 

Could a workaround be to enter the feed into a setting file instead in order to 
get around the error in the gui?
Could I enable any logs, and in that case please describe how.
