Follow-up to #209. Related comment

Note: I'm not too familiar with ace and other contexts which nb browse supports. I tested with w3m and firefox with and without pandoc.

Tests are failing. I'm not sure if the tests need to be updated and how. A little lost here. Lmk if I can help.

@slowsage I experimented a bit and ended up with a slightly different approach that preserves the color highlighting. Thanks!
