Custom domains on gmail notifier #17

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
This patch allows to specify a custom domain in the username.
Doing this will select the "custom domain" url instead of the default one.

Hi.

Thanks for this patch. If I understand it correctly, one has to type (in the
CGUI),
ie: user@example.com in the "Login" field so that the dataengine send its
requests to
https://user:passwd@mail.google.com/a/example.com/feed/atom instead of the
currently
used URL ?

I didn't think about custom domains when I first wrote GN but it is obviously a
cool
feature GN have to support too.

BTW I'd like to also change the CGUI so that it will be more obvious for users
to
know how they can use custom domains.

I'll have a closer look at that once I've finished the thing I'm currently
working on :).

Done in r141 (sorry for the delay).

As you can see I made some slight modifications to your patch. Please test and
report
if anything goes wrong (I don't use hosted domains so I cannot test this
myself).

Thanks.
