Little feature request

Hello!

Thank you very much for this simple but very useful plasmoid, I was
thinking about writing a similar one until I found yours :). It is just
exactly what I was looking for, to replace the KDE3 kgmailnotifier. Why
isn't it in the KDE subversion repository, in trunk? I think it has enough
functionality and quality to be there...

I think you could improve one thing: it wuold be good that the plasmoid
showed a pop-up when a new mail has arrived, using the new systray tooltips.

Hi.

I own a KDE SVN account (I submitted some small patches in the past) but I never
proposed to include this plasmoid in KDE (even in playground). I don't believe 
it
belongs there. What would be cool would be a notifier plasmoid that one could
interface to a POP3/IMAP/GMail/Whatever server (a kind of "all in one" 
plasmoid). But
that's beyond my coding skills :).

About the notifications, they're coming. Marc McCans proposed some patches that 
I
have yet to merge to trunk. Development is slowed though since I'm preparing 
myself
for a move very soon.

I flag your issue as a duplicate of issue #3 since it was already requested 
(and is
pending).
