I'm having the same problem, with the plug-in failing. Any other idea on how to
solve this problem? This is my first time trying to use Icefilms. Please, help.
Thanks!

Ok...I've SSH'd into apple TV via Terminal.... now what?

@Solace
Use Cyberduck or similar to create a SFTP connection between your computer and
your ATV. Then download the file attached in comment @16 or @17. Then do as
comment @50 say. However, you don't need to SSH in first, I think. I probably
did it in OS X Terminal first, but..

I tried again and this modified version from the above post is working like a
charm:

=megaroutines.py&token=A1WHA4HekC5-IuvaaDPuhoEj7nE%3A1325519415884

i have atv2 followed instructions using winscp it took a few goes of dropin
file into mega turned of xbms rebooted apple tv now ice films works,but on some
films still get the script error but not on them all anymore so i think
possible fault on megaupload links as per the notice on the icefilms web site,

@Solace:
Have you done anything more? You'll probably need Cyberduck as I said, or a
program like it. Just watch, this'll give you a guideline:

@69:
Try to hold in the MENU and PLAY button at the same time for like 6-7 seconds,
that's what I did (restart), and then it worked - almost, as no movies or
TV-shows will actually show their links when I click on them.

It worked for me too but only for one video. Play another one and see what
happens.

Jenny:
1) Download Cyberduck (or similar if you're on Windows)
2) Watch this video (you'll need the IP-address to your AppleTV):

@78:
Hm, that's weird. You're sure you've managed to replace the .py file? Well, I
actually had to jailbreak my ATV earlier today, but I guess there should really
be no need for you to do it, because that error wasn't the reason I did it..
Original comment by andreasb...@gmail.com

@Andreas: Thank you for your help! It works now.
I'm a PC user and used FileZilla to drop the file into ATV as per comment 50.
For all other newbs, try it out.

I used WinSCP and worked fine just switched megaroutines.py with beato's and
solved script failing problem I believe. But just curious does anyone knows the
fix to megaupload or icefilms whichever it maybe acting as if its playing a
video without me seeing it. i.e I would choose a movie and then come out of it
and try to go onto another and nothing happens it just tells me its working and
nothing comes up. To my knowledge it believes that you are still watching this
first selection and have to wait until it is finished even though i am not
watching it.......this is very annoying is there anyway to fix this?

@85 yeah I got that. ;-) My question is where to put it?
the upload location on ATV is clear to me, but I am running XMBC on my macbook
with Lion.
in comment 11 there is a location mentioned, but that does not exist on my
system.

Hello, it probably looks something like this:
OSX: /Users/yourusername/Library/Application
Support/XBMC/addons/plugin.video.icefilms

Thanks so much!,
And for you guys that are having trouble with the movie db scraper, just
install the YOUTUBE plugin under programs and man o man, TMDB works as well..
do not ask me why but it is working now!!!

Sorry, then I'm not able to help you any further without Google'ling. I don't
use XBMC on my Mac, so I'm unsure how you should proceed. Try to search up the
XBMC folder? Could work, as it must be somewhere :).
@93:
"The default", as in the same file before replacing it? You could just rename
it to megaroutines_backup.py or something, or just download it to your
computer. You won't be needing it for anything else than a backup, as you're
replacing it with the file you download frrom @16/@17.
Original comment by andreasb...@gmail.com

For Mac users with Lion:
To find the XBMC folder, you need to opt+click the GO menu in Finder. Then you
will see the mentioned Library folder.
